How to prepare
- No fasting required (fasting optional for more accurate cholesterol results)
- Take your sample between 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Avoid alcohol and heavy meals for 24 hours before testing
- Stay well hydrated
- Avoid supplements (iron, multivitamins, biotin) for 48 hours before your test
- Stop biotin 2 days before testing (unless prescribed)
- Inform us if you are on long-term medication that may affect nutritional or metabolic markers
