1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website www.nuvivo.co.uk and the services provided by Nuvivo Health LTD (“Nuvivo”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website, booking a service, or purchasing a test, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.


2. Eligibility

  • Services are available only to individuals aged 18 years or over.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service where eligibility, safety, or compliance requirements are not met.


3. Services Provided

  • Nuvivo provides private blood testing, doctor-reviewed reports, and consultations.
  • We comply with Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) regulations.
  • Our services are not a substitute for NHS services, GP advice, or emergency medical care.
  • In case of urgent symptoms, you must call 999 or seek NHS support immediately.



 


4. Bookings & Appointments

  • Bookings are confirmed only once full payment is received.
  • Appointment times are subject to availability.
  • You must bring valid identification and sign consent forms.
  • Failure to attend without notice will result in forfeiting your payment.
  • Nuvivo reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if patient behaviour is inappropriate, abusive, or unsafe.


5. Payments

  • All services must be paid for in advance via Shopify Payments or another approved method.
  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until payment has cleared.


6. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours before the appointment: full refund.
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before the appointment: 50% refund.
  • Missed appointments/no-shows: no refund.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be made to the original payment method within 7 working days.
  • If Nuvivo cancels your appointment, you will receive either a full refund or a free rescheduled appointment.





 


7. Test Results & Reports

  • Results are securely delivered via email or online portal. Access is password protected.
  • All results are reviewed by a UK-registered doctor before being shared.
  • Nuvivo is not responsible for:
    • Delays caused by laboratories, couriers, or technical issues outside our control
    • Misinterpretation or misuse of results by patients
    • Consequences of patients failing to follow medical advice or seeking further care
  • Results are provided for informational and clinical purposes only and do not replace ongoing medical supervision by your GP or specialist.


8. Data Protection

  • Nuvivo processes personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we handle personal data.


9. Liability

  • Nuvivo delivers services with reasonable skill, care, and in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuvivo is not liable for:
    • Indirect, consequential, or financial losses
    • Delays in results or service delivery due to third-party failures
    • Any condition not identified through the tests provided
    • Losses resulting from inaccurate information provided by you
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any matter where liability cannot be excluded by law.



 


10. Indemnity

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nuvivo Health LTD, its directors, staff, and contractors from any claims, damages, costs, or liabilities arising from:

  • Misuse of services or test results
  • Provision of false, misleading, or incomplete information
  • Breach of these Terms


11. Force Majeure

Nuvivo is not responsible for failure or delay in service delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, power failures, or IT disruptions.


12. Intellectual Property

  • All website content (text, graphics, logos, designs, trademarks, and software) is owned by Nuvivo Health LTD.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.


13. Complaints

  • Complaints must be submitted in writing to hello@nuvivo.co.uk.
  • We will acknowledge receipt within 3 working days and aim to respond within 20 working days.
  • A full copy of our Complaints Policy is available on request.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.


 


15. Changes to Terms

Nuvivo may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
