How to prepare
How to prepare
Women:
- For baseline fertility hormones: test on Day 3 of your menstrual cycle
- For progesterone: test 7 days before your expected period
All:
- No fasting required (fasting optional for more accurate cholesterol results)
- Take your sample between 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours before testing
- Avoid supplements (iron, vitamins, fertility blends, biotin) for 48 hours
- Stop biotin 2 days before testing (unless prescribed)
- Inform us if you take hormone medication, contraception, or thyroid treatment
