PRF under-eye treatment uses platelet-rich fibrin prepared from your own blood and is used in aesthetic practice with the aim of supporting skin quality in this area.

What is PRF?

PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin.

It is prepared from a small sample of your own blood and contains platelets within a fibrin-rich matrix.

PRF is different from PRP and different from dermal filler.

Rather than being used primarily to add volume, PRF is used with the aim of supporting natural regenerative processes and improving aspects of skin quality.

Will I need more than one session?

PRF and dermal filler have different purposes.

Dermal filler is a manufactured product that may be used in selected patients to address volume or structural concerns.

Not every under-eye concern should be treated with either option.
