Frequently asked questions
Who is this test for?
It is our most comprehensive women's health panel, combining a detailed general health assessment with a full hormone profile. It suits women wanting a thorough review in one appointment, particularly around perimenopause or during a period of unexplained symptoms.
When should I schedule it?
Fasted, in the morning, and ideally between days two and five of your cycle if you are still menstruating. That combination gives accurate metabolic readings and the clearest hormone baseline. If your cycle is irregular or has stopped, test at any time.
What does this include that the standard Women's Health panel does not?
It adds the reproductive hormone profile, including oestradiol, FSH, LH, testosterone and SHBG, along with a wider range of vitamins and metabolic markers. The standard panel covers general health without the hormone assessment.
Do I need to stop supplements beforehand?
Stop biotin containing supplements for 48 hours, as biotin interferes with hormone and thyroid assays. If you take high dose iron or B12, mention it when booking, as recent supplementation can mask an underlying deficiency.
Will a doctor review my results?
This check includes a personalised doctor-reviewed report explaining your results and any recommended next steps, which may include lifestyle changes, further testing, or follow up with a healthcare professional.
