A focused thyroid and autoimmune health check to help explain fatigue, mood changes, weight fluctuations, and metabolism concerns. This panel measures essential thyroid hormones alongside autoimmune markers to screen for conditions such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’ disease.
Clinic appointments take place at 8 Carmondean Centre Road, Livingston EH54 8PT. Home visits are arranged manually to ensure clinician availability and travel time.

How to prepare
How to prepare
- Take your sample between 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Fasting not required, but avoid heavy or fatty meals before testing
- Avoid strenuous exercise, sex, and nipple stimulation for 48 hours prior
- Stay well hydrated
- Avoid supplements (iron, B12, multivitamins, biotin) for 48 hours
- Stop biotin 2 days prior (unless prescribed)
- Continue thyroxine as normal; delay liothyronine or DTE until after the blood draw
- Inform us if you take amiodarone or lithium
- If menstruating: test between day 2–5 of your cycle (ideally day 3)
