What is PRF?

PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin.

It is prepared from a small sample of your own blood and contains platelets within a fibrin-rich matrix.

PRF is different from PRP and from dermal filler.

Rather than using a manufactured volumising gel, PRF uses a preparation derived from your own blood and is used in aesthetic practice with the aim of supporting natural regenerative processes.

Your practitioner will explain whether PRF is appropriate for your goals and whether another treatment may be more suitable.
